Pengembangan Kerjasama Japan International Corporation Agency dengan Taman Nasional Sembilang

Taman Nasional Sembilang merupakan perwakilan hutan mangrove, di Propinsi Sumatera Selatan. Upaya restorasi diperlukan untuk pengendalian erosi, pemulihan habitat fauna dan penurunan dampak negatif pada areal-areal yang telah terganggu. Restorasi adalah suatu upaya mengembalikan kondisi hutan dengan tujuan memperoleh kembali keanekaragaman hayati, struktur dan lainnya di hutan dataran rendah. Dalam pelaksanaan restorasi terdapat kendala-kendala yaitu dana, teknologi, sumber daya manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memformulasikan strategi untuk mencapai kerjasama antara TN Sembilang dengan JICA yang diinginkan di masa yang akan datang.
Sembilang National Park is representative of mangrove forest in South Sumatra Province. Restoration efforts needed for erosion control, restoration of fauna habitat and decrease the negative impact on areas that have been disrupted. Restoration is an effort to restore forest conditions in order to recover biodiversity, and other structures in the lowland forest. In the implementation of the restoration are the constraints of funds, technology, human resources. The purpose of this research is to formulate strategies to achieve the synergies cooperation between Sembilang National Park and JICA in the future.
