Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi Good Corporate Governance (GCG) di PT Telkom sebagai pemenuhan prinsip independensi oleh Dewan Komisaris dan Direksi.


Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan data sekunder, yaitu annual report dari PT Telkom untuk tahun 2008. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah Rating Model dari CGCG UGM yang bertujuan untuk menilai penerapan Good Corpaorate Governance di PT Telkom.


Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberhasilan penerapan GCG di PT Telkom untuk tahun 2008. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh kesesuaian praktek GCG di PT Telkom dengan standar CGCG UGM.

The aims of this research is to evaluate the implementation of Good Corporate Governance of PT Telkom for year 2008 as a fulfillment of independence principle by Board of Commissioner and Director.


This research, the writer use secondary data which is an annual report of PT Telkom for year 2008. The measurement tool used in this research is Rating Model by CGCG UGM and intent to value the implementation of Good Corporate Governance in PT Telkom.


The research result show the successes in implementation of Good Corporate Governance in PT Telkom for year 2008. It is showed with an appropriate between the practical in PT Telkom and standard of CGCG UGM .
