INVESTASI DAN PERTUMBUHAN SEKTORAL DI DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian mengenai investasi dan pertumbuhan sektoral di Daerah lstimewa Yogyakarta, bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju pertumbuhan ekonomi dan kontribusi sektor industri, pertanian dan jasa. Di samping itu untuk menghitung pertumbuhan ekonomi relatif akibat adanya investasi dan menunjukkan keterkaitan antar sektor-sektor tersebut. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder berupa Produk Domestik regional Bruto (PDRB), Pembentukan Modal Tetap Domestik Bruto (PMTDB), label Input-Output, Realisasi Pengeluaran Pembangunan dan Proyek PMA dan PMDN yang disetujui di Daerah lstimewa Yogyakarta. Data yang diamati selama periode 1993-1999 dan bersumber dari Badan Pusat Statistik Daerah lstimewa Yogyakarta. Dalam menganalisis data digunakan (1) rumus pertumbuhan untuk mengetahui laju pertumbuhan ekonomi secara sektoral; (2) konsep ICOR untuk menghitung pertumbuhan ekonomi relatif akibat adanya investasi; (3) analisis Input-Output untuk menunjukkan keterkaitan antar sektor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa selama periode pengamatan laju pertumbuhan ekonomi di Daerah lstimewa Yogyakarta secara keseluruhan rata-rata sebesar 8 persen, seciangkan laju pertumbuhan per sektor yang tertinggi adalah sektor industri walaupun bila kontribusi rata-ratanya setiap tahun dalam pembentukan PDRB hanya sebesar 26 persen, ini lebih kecil daripada kontribusi sektor jasa yang besarnya 56,6 persen. Sektor unggufan adalah sektor industri karena memifiki keterkaitan ke belakang tertinggi sebesar 1,987 dan keterkaitan ke muka yang tinggi pula yaitu sebesar 2,095.
This research attempts to identify the economic growth rate and the contribution of the sectors of industry, agriculture, and service in Yogyakarta Special Territory. In addition, the research also analyses the relative economic growth due to the investment and identifies the intersectoral linkage. The data used in this research are secondary data consisting of the Gross Regional Domestic Product, Gross Domestic Fixed Capital Accumulation, Input-Output Table, the realization of Development Expenses, Foreign and Domestic investments realized in Yogyakarta Special Territory. The data are from the period of 1993-1999 and obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of this province. Growth formulation is applied to identify the sectoral economic growth rate, Incremental Capital Output Ratio concept is used to analyze the relative economic growth due to the investment, and Input- Output analysis is applied to identify the intersectoral linkage. The findings of this research indicate that the economic growth rate in Yogyakarta Special Territory is 8 percent on the average, whereas the highest sectoral growth rate is in the industrial sector. However, the annual average contribution of the industrial sector to the Gross Regional Domestic Product is only 26 percent, lower than the contribution of the service sector which reaches 56.6 percent. The leading sector is the industrial sector because it has the highest backward linkage of 1.987 and the forward linkage of 2.095.
