ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENENTU PENERAPAN ESOP PADA PERUSAHAAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK JAKARTA

ESOP merupakan salah satu bentuk kompensasi yang dilakukan oleh suatu perusahaan yang ingin mengatasi permasalahan tentang biaya agen, dalam penerapan ESOP perlu dipertimbangkan berbagai macam faktor-faktor penentu yang sebagai dasar penentuan dalam penerapan ESOP.

Dalam penelitian ini dengan menggunakan populasi semua perusahaan yang telah menerapkan ESOP pada perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Jakarta. Dalam penelitian menurunkan beberapa hipotesis Size, Market to book Value, Time Interest Earned Ratio, dan Growth berhubungan positif terhadap penerapan ESOP dan Leverage dan Curent Ratio berhubungan negatif dengan penerapan program ESOP setelah dilakukan uj statistik menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang tidak diterima adalah Size dan Growth yang ternyata mempunyai hasil berpengaruh negatif terhadap penerapan ESOP. Hal ini berarti semakin besar perusahaan semakin sedikit kemungkinan menerapkan program ESOP dan semakin perushaan tesebut bertumbuh semakin kecil kecenderungan perusahaan menerapkan ESOP, kemungkinan perusahaan perusahaan yang mempunyai asset yang besar dan nilai pertumbuhan yang semakin tinggi perrusahaan menerapkan kompensasi terhadap karyawannya tidak dengan menerapkan ESOP melainkan dalam bentuk lain yang lebih menguntungkan.

ESOP represent one of compensation form by a company which wish to overcome the problems about agency cost, in applying ESOP require to be considered assorted determinant factors which is as determination base in applying ESOP.


In this research by using population is all company applied the ESOP at company enlisted in Stock Exchange Jakarta (BEJ). In research degrade some hypothesis Size, Market To book Value, Time of Interest of Earned Ratio, and Growth correlate positive to applying of ESOP and Leverage and Current Ratio correlate the negativity with the applying program the ESOP after statistical test indicate that the hypothesis which not accepted is Size and Growth which actually have the result have an effect on the negativity to applying ESOP. Matter this means ever greater of company progressively a little possibility apply the program ESOP. possibility of company having big asset and assess the growth which excelsior company apply the compensation to its employees not by applying ESOP but in the form of other dissimilar more beneficial.
