Analisis Pengaruh Content Dan Technical Quality Terhadap Penggunaan Sintesis Dengan Menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model

SINTESIS adalah sistem informasi akademik terpadu pada Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada yang bertujuan untuk mempermudah mahasiswa dalam melakukan aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan kegiatan perkuliahan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan pengaruh kualitas isi dan teknis terhadap tingkat penerimaan mahasiswa pada sistem informasi berupa SINTESIS dengan menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomika dan Bisnis Universitas Gadjah Mada yang telah menggunakan SINTESIS minimal selama 6 bulan.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan sistem informasi dipengaruhi oleh niat pengguna (behavioral intention to use) dalam mengunakan SINTESIS. Sikap dalam menggunakan (attitude toward using) dan manfaat persepsian (perceived usefulness) mempengaruhi niat mahasiswa (behavioral intention to use) untuk mengunakan SINTESIS. Manfaat persepsian (perceived usefulness) dan kemudahan persepsian (perceived ease of use) tidak mempengaruhi sikap mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan (attitude toward using) SINTESIS. Kualitas content dan technical mempengaruhi kemudahan persepsian (perceived esae of use) tetapi content tidak mempengaruhi manfaat persepsian (perceived usefulness) sementara technical berpengaruh terhadap persepsian kemanfatan (perceived usefulness) dalam SINTESIS. Penelitian ini memiliki hasil yang berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya di mana technical memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap manfaat persepsian (perceived usefulness) sementara hasil penelitian sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa technical tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap manfaat persepsian (perceived usefulness)
SINTESIS is an academic information system at Faculty of Economics and Business Gadjah Mada University that purposes to ease students in their college activities. This research purposes is to find out how the content and technical quality influence to student acceptance in information system like SINTESIS using Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The sample of the research is all student at Faculty of Economics and Business Gadjah Mada University that have been using SINTESIS at least 6 month.
The results of the research show that acceptance of information systemis is influenced by behavioral intention to use SINTESIS. Both attitude toward using and perceived usefulness are determinants of behavioral intention to use SINTESIS. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use show that both of them have no influence upon attitude toward using SINTESIS. Content and technical quality have influence perceived ease of use of SINTESIS but content quality has no influence upon perceived usefulness when technical quality has influence upon perceived usefulness. This research gives the different result from the previous research that technical has a significant influence toward perceived usefulness when the previous research shows that technical quality has no influence upon perceived usefulness.
