The Implementation of Balanced Scorecard in Translating Vision and Strategy (Case Study PT Angkasa Pura I (persero) Jakarta Branch Office

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari impelemnatsi Balanced Scorecard yang dilakukan oleh PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero), Cabang Jogjakarta sebagai alat dalam menerjemahkan visi dan strategy perusahaan. Penelitian dalam studi ini dilakukan di empat departemen yang terdapat di dalam perusahaan untuk mennganalisa sejauh mana pemahaman dan pengimplementasian Balanced Scorecard.
Sebagai sebuah studi kualitatif, depth interview digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data dengan melibatkan kurang lebih 10 responden dari seluruh departemen berdasarkkan interview guide yang telah disusun sebelumnya.
Hasil analisi menunjukkan bahwa pengimplementasioan Balance Scorecard di PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero) cabang Jogjakarta masih perlu untuk dikembangkan karena kurang efektifnya empat persepektif yang ada, financial, customer, internal business, dan learning and growth, dalam menterjemahkan visi dan strategy perusahaan melalui empat elemen, objective, measure, target dan initiatives. Sebagai hasil akhir dan masukan bagi perusahaan, strategy map dibuat sebagai starting point dalam menterjemahkan visi dan strategi.
This paper is planned to analyzed the implementation of Balanced Scorecard in PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero), Jogjakarta Branch Office, in all four departments, Operational departments, General and admission departments, Human Resource departments, and Technical departments. This research is hold to examine whether the implementation of Balanced Scorecard could be use to build understanding about companyÂ’s vision and strategy and enhance the strategy implementation.
As a qualitative research, in depth interview was hold and used to get deep understanding about the implementation of Balanced Scorecard. 10 interviewees from the whole department were interviewed based on the questionnaire guide with some probing needed.
From the analysis found that the implementation of Balanced Scorecard in PT. Angkasa Pura I (Persero), Jogjakarta Branch Office is need to be improved as the four perspective, financial, customer, internal business and learning and growth, have not been effective in translating company vision and strategy through its four elements, objective, measure, target and initiatives. As a suggestion for the company, strategy map is developed as a starting point in translating vision and strategy through Balanced Scorecard.
