Analisis Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan Sebelum dan Setelah Terjadinya Krisis Moneter : Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan yang Terdaftar di BEJ Periode 1994-2000

Monetary crisis that happened in mid 1997, had affected all industrial sector in Indonesia. This study analyzed companies performance before and after crisis has occurred. All companies were sorted into two groups base on their exchange rate beta (increasing or decreasing their stock return when currency depreciated).
This study had two main issues: (a) financial performance between negative and positive exposure companies, before and after monetary crisis. (b) financial performance factor that influence stock return companies. The result were both negative and positive exposure companies have higher leverage and lower profitability after crisis had occurred. This study also founds that financial performance factor didn't influence stock return around crisis monetary period.
