This knowledge could be used to facilitate a better system in future. We used survey design to conduct research. The target population for this research will consist of individual executive MM student at Gadjah Mada University. Sampling will be purposive sampling, with convenience technique. Total sample sizes collected are 30 executive MM student at Gadjah Mada University. Instrument perception on performance appraisal politics was adapted from Tziner et al (1996), job satisfaction adapted from Moynihan and Pandey (2007), and turnover intention questionnaire adapted from Sjoberg and Sverke (1996). Data analysis tested with mediating model from Baron and Kenny (1986).Hypothesis test result show that there is no relationship between perception on performance appraisal politics (X) to turnover intention (Y) as condition 1 Condition 2 from Baron and Kenny (1986) was not met in this result, because there was no relationship between perception on performance appraisal politics (X) on job satisfaction (M) For condition 3, the researcher found that there was a relationship between job satisfaction (M) and turnover intention (Y) but no relationship between perception on performance appraisal politics (X) on turnover intention (Y). So, researcher concluded that there is no mediating variable in relationship between perception on performance appraisal politics on turnover intention because term conditions from Baron and Kenny (1986) doesn't meet. Thus, we found that job satisfaction is not a mediating variable in this model.
