Pengaruh Peringkat Kinerja Lingkungan Perusahaan dan Pengungkapan Informasi Lingkungan terhadap Kinerja Ekonomi Perusahaan

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meneliti tentang pengaruh peringkat kinerja lingkungan perusahaan dan pengungkapan informasi lingkungan terhadap kinerja ekonomi perusahaan dengan beberapa variabel kontrol (ISO 14001, profitabilitas, dan ukuran perusahaan). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 16 perusahaan yang terdaftar sebagai peserta PROPER dan terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2006-2007. Sampel diperoleh melalui teknik purposive sampling. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) peringkat kinerja lingkungan perusahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja ekonomi perusahaan, dan (2) pengungkapan informasi lingkungan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja ekonomi perusahaan.


Dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengungkapan informasi lingkungan berpengaruh secara positif signifikan terhadap kinerja ekonomi perusahaan dan peringkat kinerja lingkungan perusahaan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan.

This study examines the impact of corporate environmental performance rating and disclosure of environmental information on the economic performance of firms with several control variables (ISO 14001, profitability, and company size). This study utilize samples of 16 companies registered for the PROPER and listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the year 2006-2007. Samples were obtained through purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis in this study are: (1) corporate environmental performance rating has a positive effect on economic performance of firms, and (2) disclosure of environmental information has a positive effect on economic performance of the company.


By using multiple regression analysis, this research shows that environmental disclosure is positively significant influence on economic performance and the company's environmental performance rating does not affect the company significantly.
