KOPERASI BAITULMAL WATAMWIL SEBAGAI FORMAT LEMBAGA EKONOMI USAHA KECIL

Menggunakan metode penelitian Istimbath diketahui bahwa koperasi Baitulmal wattamwil tidak sesuai dengan islam. Sebab dalam pandangan islam, lembaga ekonomi harus memenuhi persyaratan transaksi-kesepakatan usaha-pembagian untung rugi. Oleh karena itu hendaknya koperasi baitulmal watamwil diubah sehingga sesuai dengan lembaga ekonomi dalam pandangan islam. Hanya saja, perubahan supaya sesuai dengan pandangan islam tersebut tidaklah perubahan yang fundamental. Sebab unsur utama, yaitu keberadaan anggota dan pengurus, yang sebelumnya telah ada, tetap dapat dipertahankan. Dalam perspektif itu dapat diperkirakan faktor apa yang akan mempengaruhi keberhasilan koperasi Baitulmal watamwil di masa yang akan datang.
Dengan menggunakan metode penelitian survey dapat diketahui bahwa anggota, pengurus, dan lingkungan, merupakan tiga komponen utama koperasi Baitulmal Watainwil. Ketiganya mempengaruhi berhasil tidaknya koperasi BMT. Ketiganya mempengaruhi jumlah modal dikumpulkan dan mempengaruhi keuntungan yang diraih. Pada saat ini ketiga komponen belum berjalan dengan serasi, yang berakibat pada perolehan keberhasilan koperasi BMT. Keberhasilan koperasi BMT baru terlihat dengan jumlah modal, namun belum dari keuntungan. Dimana jumlah modal disebabkan karena banyaknya anggota. Sedangkan keberadaan pengurus dan dukungan lingkungan belum signifikan terhadap keuntungan koperasi BMT.
Usaha untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan koperasi BMT adalah dengan mencari dukungan dari lingkungan. sebab dengan adanya dukungan lingkungan diharapkan akan memperbanyak modal dan meningkatkan keuntungan. Sebab dukungan lingkungan berarti kepercayaan lingkungan terhadap koperasi BMT. Kepercayaan tersebut akan Nampak dalam aktivitas riil berupa antusias dan semangat untuk menjadi anggota koperasi BMT sehingga modal koperasi BMT meningkat dan melakukan berbagai transaksi yang berkaitan dengan koperasi BMT yang menyebabkan keuntungan koperasi BMT meningkat.
Namun demikian, meningkatkan dukungan lingkungan tidak hanya mengandalkan aspek finansial, namun lebih dan itu harus ada hubungan keterikatan yang erat antara lingkungan dan koperasi BMT. Yaitu dengan cara memasukkan berbagai persepsi berkaitan koperasi BMT dan bukan sekadar memberikan informasi keberadaan koperasi BMT secara finansial. Mengingat islam adalah sekumpulan persepsi bukan sekadar informasi, maka langkah kongkrit mencari dukungan lingkungan bagi koperasi BMT adalah dengan menyebarkan 'da'i' dan (ustadz'—sebagai personil pemasaran ke lingkungan koperasi BMT yang berfungsi menyebarkan persepsi-persepsi islam dan ekonomi islam termasuk koperasi BMT. Dari prospek itulah, lingkungan sekitar koperasi BMT menerima berbagai persepsi-persepsi ekonomi islam.
Apabila langkah `pemasaran' tersebut telah dilakukan, maka menuai keberhasilan koperasi BMT tinggal memmggu waktu, dan pada saat itu koperasi BMT sebagai format lembaga ekonomi usaha kecil dapat diproyeksikan.
By using research method of istimbath, it can be shown that Baitulmnl wattamwil cooperation is not in line with Islam. This is because in Islamic perspective, economy institution should fulfill the requirement of agreement transaction of business in distributing loss-profit Therefore, baitulmal watamwil cooperation should be modified so that it is in agreement with Islamic perspective on economy institution. But the modification is not fundamental, because the main components, i.e., its members and executors, that previously have existed, can still be maintained. In this perspective, some factors influencing the success of Baitulmal watamwil cooperation in the future can be predicted.
By using survey research method, it can be shown that the members, executors, and environment are the main components of Baitulmal Watamwil cooperation. The three components have influence on the collected amount of capital and the resulting profit At the present time, the three components have not operated harmoniously yet, resulting in he decrease of achievement gained by BMT cooperation. The achievement of BMT cooperation has already been able to be seen in the amount of capital, rather than in its profit, where the large amount of capital is caused by the large number of its members.
Whereas the existence of executors and environmental support has not been significant on the profit of BMT cooperation.
The effort to increase the achievement of BMT cooperation is by looking for the support of environment, because with this support it is hoped that capital and profit can be increased. In this case, environmental support means environmental trust on BMT cooperation. The trust manifests in real activities in the form of people's enthusiasm and spirit to become the member of BMT cooperation -- so that the capital of BMT cooperation will increase --- resulting in the profit increase of BMT cooperation.
However, increasing environmental support does not only mean that it relies on financial aspect, but furthermore close attachment relationship between environment and BMT cooperation should exist, i.e., by giving various perceptions related to BMT cooperation rather than giving information on the existence of BMT cooperation -- financially.
Since Islam is the collection of perceptions rather than merely information, the concrete steps in looking for environmental support for BMT cooperation is by spreading 'dai' (callers) and ustadz' (teachers) -- as marketing personals -- into the environment of BMT cooperation where their function is to propagate Islamic perceptions and islamic economy including BMT cooperation. From that prospects, the environment arround BMT cooperation will accept various perceptions of Islamic economy.
When the 'marketing step has been conducted, achieving success of BMT cooperation is a matter of time, and at that time BMT cooperation as the format of small business economy institution can be projected
