Evaluasi Ground Operations Activity Sebagai Penunjang Ketepatan Jadwal Penerbangan Studi Kasus Pada Mandala Airlines

Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana penerapan ground operations activity berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan ground operations sesuai standar baku yang ada. Obyek penelitian yang digunakan adalah perusahaan penerbangan berbasis Low Cost Carrier (LCC). Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Mandala Airlines station Airport Adi Sutjipto Yogyakarta. Tujuan penelitian adalah melakukan evaluasi ground operations activity dan mengindentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat agar tercapainya Standar Operating Procedure (SOP) yang telah ditetapkan sehingga dapat merumuskan strategi pencapaian SOP yang optimal pada ground operations activity.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada aktivitas operasional ground operations activity didapatkan hasil yang telah sesuai SOP. Beberapa hasil identifikasi faktor penghambat seperti dalam aktivitas ground operations activity yang utama adalah kesiapan personil, ground support equipment, cuaca, dan karakteristik kepadatan Bandara Adi Sutjipto pada jam tertentu. Mandala dapat mengimplementasikan sistem informasi dan teknologi pada grounds operations activity agar pencapaian ketepatan jadwal penerbangan menjadi lebih baik di masa datang.
This research paper examine on how to implement ground operation activity which based on the evaluation from the ground activity operation according to the standard operation procedure. The research will be performing in one of Indonesia low cost carrier Airlines which is Mandala Airlines in Adi Sutjipto Airport station Yogyakarta Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to evaluate their ground operation activity and identify the supporting factor and the obstacle in realizing the company standard operation procedure which has been applied in order to formulate a better SOP in their ground operation activity.
Based on the research result on their specific operational activity in ground operation activity found that the activity is operated are align with their Company SOP. However, there are several obstacle factors such as ground staff readiness, ground support equipment, weather, and the Adi Sutjipto Airport characteristic which in a certain busy hour period experienced a congested airport situation. Mandala Ailines is able to implement an information and technological information system in their Ground operation activity to achieve a better on time performance in Adi Sutjipto Airport in the future.
