Mengevaluasi Peran Corporate Governance di Perusahaan Asuransi. (Case Study: PT Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia)

Penelitian ini membahas tentang implementasi Corporate Governance di suatu perusahaan terutama diambil sampel di perusahaan PT Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia menggunakan model peratingan yang dikeluarkan oleh CGCG FEB UGM. Hasil dari penelitian ini akan bermanfaat untuk perkembangan penggunaan Corporate Governance di PT Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia.
Bukti dan data dikumpulkan dari interview oleh lima participant PT Asuransi Winterthur Life also dengan data sekunder diambil dari laporan keuangan. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan Corporate Governance di PT Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia sudah berjalan dengan baik dengan opini very good.
This research discusses the implementation of Good Corporate Governance on company PT Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia with CGCG Rating Model of UGM. The aims from this research are to find out how good PT Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia doing Good Corporate Governance and it will be assessed by result of the rating model. The following result will be useful in accordance with the development of implementation of Good Corporate Governance in PT Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia.
The data obtained from interviews with five participants of PT Asuransi Winterthur Life also with secondary data coming from the annual report. From the results of the study can be found that PT Asuransi Winterthur Life Indonesia has adapted Good Corporate Governance with very good opinion.
