The research was conducted in Psychology Faculty of Gadjah Mada University and the objective is to evaluate the Budget Management of Information System Implementation (SIMAGAMA) and Accounting Information System (SISKUNGAMA). The data collection method obtained mostly from direct interview with the operators and financial managers to find out the actual implementation process for these financial information systems based on the

condition in the faculty in addition to carry out book study to get conceptual base about basic guidance in using these two systems and the prevailing standard operating procedure. Data analysis method uses quantitative analysis by comparing the application of the two systems on the field with the using manual and the standard operating procedure. The data and information obtained from the financial manager show that there are many corrections needed inside the psychology faculty. The supporting

rules from the head office also need correction to support the application of these systems. The basic concept to apply is to change the mindset of all financial

managers in the faculty and its divisions about the importance of making financial report to the faculty and university. This is necessary because there are many financial behaviour patern inside the faculty which make the application of the system cannot work maximum. Besides that, not all of the human resources in the finance division unit understand about accounting. The lack of user friendly attribute of these two programs sometimes make users complaint about the ease which they do not get.
