In 1998 Indonesian economic was in crisis. It is shown by the declining of Indonesian rupiah exchange rate and the performance of capital market. This economic crisis has an impact mainly in banking, insurance, and real estate. The purpose of this research is to analyze the fundamental performance of a company. The method which is used in this research is Mann Whitney. It is used to identify the significance level of fundamental variables change of a company. The research shows that in period of before and after 1998 there were the declining of real estate competency to fulfill the short term obligation, the declining of proportion debt toward the equity in banking, the declining of profit toward the invested capital in insurance sector, the declining of earning per share in banking and insurance, the declining of the efficiency level in insurance sector, and the declining of the effectiveness in managing assets in banking.
