Informasi laba membantu investor untuk menilai harga saham suatu perusahaan, membuat keputusan menjual atau membeli sekuritas suatu perusahaan, serta untuk memperkirakan return yang akan diperoleh dari investasi tersebut. Laba digunakan sebagai dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan investasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh laba terhadap harga dan return saham, serta untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh informasi akuntansi terhadap penilaian perusahaan selama periode penelitian Metode yang digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara laba dengan harga dan return saham menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa laba tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap harga saham. Akan tetapi laba berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap return saham. Semakin tinggi laba semakin tinggi pula return yang diperoleh, menunjukkan semakin tinggi laba semakin tinggi pula tingkat keuntungan investasi atau tingkat pengembalian investasinya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa laba akuntansi menjadi faktor fundamental bagi investor dalam pengambilan keputusan investasi. Kata kunci : Laba, Harga saham, Return Saham.

Profit information assist the investor to assess the share price of a company, make decision to sell or buy the security of a company, and also to estimate the return to be obtained from the investment. Profit used as by base in decision making its investment. This research aim to analyze the profit influence to price and return share, and also to know how far influence of accounting information to company assessment of during research period. Method used to analyze the relation of among profit at the price of and return share use the simple regression. Result from this research is known that by the profit do not have an effect on by significant to share price. However profit have an effect on positive of significant to return share. Excelsior of excelsior Profit also obtained return, showing excelsior of excelsior profit also amount the investment advantage or rate of return its investment. This matter indicate that the accountancy profit become the basal factor for investor in decision making investment. Keyword: Profit, Share Price, Return Share.
