PERSEPSI MASYARAKAT DESA WEDOMARTANI TERHADAP KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI AKIBAT PEMBANGUNAN JOGJA BAY WATERPARK

Jogja Bay Adventure Pirates Waterpark adalah lokasi pariwisata dengan luas 11 Hektar yang dianggap sebagai salah satu lokasi wisata air yang berbeda dibandingkan dengan lokasi wisata serupa. Pembangunan Jogja Bay Waterpark sejak tahun 2015 memberikan dampak sosial dan ekonomi terhadap masyarakat yang ada di sekitarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui proses pembangunan lokasi pariwisata Jogja Bay Waterpark dan mengetahui perubahan kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat akibat pembangunan Jogja Bay Waterpark. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara kepada sebagian masyarakat di Desa Wedomartani. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian besar penduduk di sekitar Jogja Bay Waterpark yaitu 67,7% responden merasakan adanya dampak atau perubahan oleh pembangunan Jogja Bay Waterpark. Perubahan kondisi ekonomi penduduk Desa Wedomartani tidak terlalu signifikan. Sedangkan pada aspek sosial terdapat perubahan yang cukup mempengaruhi penghidupan masyarakat Desa Wedomartani yaitu perubahan kepadatan jalan dan kebisingan yang diakibatkan oleh pengunjung lokasi pariwisata Jogja Bay Waterpark.

Jogja Bay Adventure Pirates Waterpark is a 11 hectare tourism site that is considered as one of the different water tourism sites compared to similar tourist sites. The construction of Jogja Bay Waterpark since 2015 provides social and economic impacts on the surrounding community. The purpose of this research is to know the process of development of Jogja Bay Waterpark tourism location and to know the changing socio-economic condition of society caused by Jogja Bay Waterpark The data were collected by interviewing some people in the village of Wedomartani. The result of this research is most of the people around Jogja Bay Waterpark that is 67,7% respondents feel the impact or change by Jogja Bay Waterpark development. Changes in the economic conditions of the villagers of Wedomartani are not very significant. While on the social aspect there is a considerable change affect the livelihood of the people of the village Wedomartani namely changes in road density and noise caused by visitors of the location of tourism Jogja Bay Waterpark.
