Peran The United Steelworkers Union dan United States International Trade Commission dalam Proses Pengambilan Kebijakan Tarif Impor Ban Tiongkok Pada Era Presiden Barack Obama

Penelitian ini membahas peran kelompok kepentingan The United Steelworkers Union dan komunitas epistemik United States International Trade Commission dalam mengagregasikan tujuan mereka untuk mempengaruhi pengambilan kebijakan tarif impor ban Tiongkok pada era Presiden Barack Obama. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan Konsep Kelompok Kepentingan dan Konsep Komunitas Epistemik. Metodologi yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa pengambilan kebijakan tarif impor ban Tiongkok pada era Presiden Barack Obama sangat dipengaruhi oleh peran kelompok kepentingan The United Steelworkers Union dan komunitas epistemik United States International Trade Commission, juga bentuk sinergi dan mengagregasikan tujuan mereka untuk mempengaruhi proses pengambilan kebijakan.

This research discusses the role of United Steelworkers Union and the United States International Trade Commission's epistemic community in aggregating their goals to influence the policy adoption of Tiongkok's tire during President Barack Obama's era. The analysis of this research uses the Concept of Interest Groups and Epistemic Community Concepts. This research use qualitative method with descriptive design. The results of this research show that the policy of tire import tariff in the era of President Barack Obama is strongly influenced by the role of interest groups such as The United Steelworkers Union and the United States International Trade Commission epistemic community. This regulation also figured out the synergy between both actor to influence the policy-making process.
