Display ekonomi Kabupaten Bantul berdasarkan Laporan Akuntabilitas Kinerja Instansi Pemerintah (LAKIP) menyatakan sektor pariwisata adalah sektor paling strategis yang mendukung akselerasi perekonomian di antaranya hotel. Seiring sebagai tempat wisata maka pertumbuhan hotel di Kabupaten Bantul pun mulai berkembang, namun pertumbuhan hanya terkonsentrasi pada wilayah tertentu, maka diperlukan suatu penyedia akomodasi berupa hotel untuk menunjang pariwisata tersebut. Tujuan pembuatan peta yaitu untuk mengetahui informasi pertumbuhan hotel di Kabupaten Bantul. Peta pertumbuhan hotel yang berlokasi di Kabupaten Bantul ini dibuat dengan memanfaatkan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG). Penelitian mengenai pola pertumbuhan hotel di Kabupaten Bantul ini mengambil periode selama 5 tahun yaitu 2011-2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan Mengembangkan Sistem Informasi Geografis Pertumbuhan Hotel Berbasis Web Informasi Di Kabupaten Bantul. Model pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah waterfall meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan sistem, perancangan sistem, implementasi sistem, pengujian sistem dan perbaikan sistem. Identifikasi kebutuhan meliputi kebutuhan fungsional dan non fungsional, sedangkan perancangan meliputi perancangan data flow diagram (DFD), perancangan database, dan perancangan antarmuka atau user interface. Pengujian yang digunakan adalah black box yang memfokuskan pada keperluan fungsional dari software, karena itu uji coba black box memungkinkan pengembang software untuk membuat himpunan input yang akan melatih seluruh syarat-syarat fungsional suatu sistem. Berdasarkan pengujian black box, SIG hotel di Kabupaten Bantul berfungsi sebagaimana skenario yang ditentukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lokasi hotel berbintang hanya di Kecamatan Sewon sedangkan lokasi hotel non berbintang hanya berpusat di delapan kecamatan yaitu Srandakan, Sanden, Kretek, Piyungan, Banguntapan, Sewon, Kasihan, dan Pajangan. Dari hasil analisis klasifikasi pertumbuhan hotel menjadi tiga yaitu kategori pertumbuhan rendah (0-2 hotel per tahun), kategori pertumbuhan sedang (3-6 hotel per tahun), dan kategori pertumbuhan tinggi (7-12 hotel per tahun). Penelitian ini khususnya diharapkan dapat memudahkan pemerintah untuk mengetahui informasi pertumbuhan hotel di Kabupaten Bantul dan umumnya untuk investor sebagai alternatif bahan kajian yang ingin mendirikan hotel di Kabupaten Bantul.

Alone as a tourist, growth in Bantul regency began to grow. But the growth was only concentrated in specific areas. We use a form of hotel accommodation providers to support the tourism. The purpose of making maps is to determine the distribution of information in Bantul. Distribution map hotel located in Bantul District was established by using Geographic Information System (GIS). Research on the distribution pattern in Bantul's take a period of 5 years ie 2011-2015. This research is to put in place a Geographic Information System-based hotel web for information distribution in Bantul. Model development system used is the waterfall include identification system requirements, system design, system implementation, system testing, system improvements. Identification of needs includes functional and nonfunctional requirements, while the design includes design data flow diagram (DFD), database design and interface design or user interface. The test used is a black box which focuses on the functional purpose of the software. Because the black box testing allows software developers to build a set of inputs that will train all the functional requirements of a system. Improvements include repair application system to respond to the needs of the user. The results showed only five-star hotel locations in the District of Sewon while the location of non-star hotel just centered in eight districts, namely srandakan, sanden, kretek, piyungan, banguntapan, sewon, kasihan, and pajangan. From the analysis of the distribution of hotel classification into three categories of low deployment (0-2), the category of deployment moderate (3-6), and the category of high deployment (7-12). This study in particular is called upon to facilitate the government to determine the distribution of information in Bantul and generally to investors as an alternative study materials which want to set up in Bantul
