DAMPAK PARIWISATA PADA PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI EKS KARESIDENAN KEDU TAHUN 2000-2016

Penelitian ini menguji dampak pariwisata pada pertumbuhan ekonomi Eks Karesidenan Kedu yang terdiri dari Kabupaten Magelang, Kota Magelang, Kabupaten Temanggung, Kabupaten Wonosobo, Kabupaten Purworejo, dan Kabupaten Kebumen tahun 2000-2016, menggunakan metode analisis regresi data panel untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dampak sektor pariwisata pada pertumbuhan ekonomi. Beberapa variabel kontrol juga ditambahkan untuk menghindari masalah variabel yang dihilangkan, seperti pertumbuhan ekonomi periode sebelumnya, tingkat pertumbuhan populasi penduduk dan kurs efektif riil. Hasilnya, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perubahan tingkat pertumbuhan pendapatan pariwisata dapat memberikan dampak positif pada perubahan tingkat pertumbuhan ekonomi, ceteris paribus. Pemerintah dan pihak-pihak terkait dalam hal ini destinasi diharapkan dapat lebih memperhatikan pertumbuhan sektor pariwisata, serta tetap menjaga kelestarian sumber daya alam dan sosiokultura ketika melakukan pembangunan.

This research applies to economic growth of Kedu residency which consist of Magelang Regency, Magelang City, Temanggung Regency, Wonosobo Regency, Purworejo Regency and Kebumen Regency 2000 - 2016, using regression panel data analysis method to know the type of peng on economic growth. Some control variables were also added to avoid the problem of omitted variables, such as the previous period's economic growth, the rate of population growth and the real effective exchange rate. The result, it can be concluded that the change of income growth rate can give positive impact on the change of economic growth rate, ceteris paribus. The Government and related parties in this regard can be expected to pay more attention to the growth of the tourism sector, while maintaining the sustainability of natural resources and sosiokultura while doing the development
