Analisis Proses Pembelajaran Berbasis Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) pada Mata Kuliah Metode Numeris

Dewasa ini, perkembangan teknologi informasi memberikan pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap perkembangan dunia pendidikan. Perkembangan teknologi memberikan banyak pilihan terkait pemilihan metode pembelajaran. Terdapat banyak metode pembelajaran untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran konvensional. Salah satunya adalah penggunaan e-learning. Salah satu bentuk bentuk e-learning adalah platform bernama Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). Dilakukan penelitian terkait tingkat efektivitas penggunaan platform MOOC bernama WizIQ pada mata kuliah Metode Numeris. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian skala kecil (pilot project) dengan melibatkan 34 responden yang berasal dari Departemen Teknik Elektro dan Teknologi Informasi Universitas Gadjah Mada dan Jurusan Teknik Industri Universitas Islam Indonesia. Penelitian terkait efektivitas didasarkan pada 3 aspek yaitu Measurability, Engagement, dan Satisfaction. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, keseluruhan data yang digunakan adalah valid. Hal tersebut didasarkan pada uji normalitas, validitas, dan reliabilitas. Platform MOOC memiliki tingkat efektivitas sebesar 60,1% dengan satisfaction memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap efektivitasnya.

Nowadays, the development of technology has majorly influenced the development in the educational practices. The development of technology has brought different options for educational methods to choose from. There are a lot of methods that aimed to support the conventional methods in the educational practices sector. One of the method is e-learning. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is one of e-learning methods that is used nowadays. A research is conducted to analyze the level of effectiveness of the use of MOOC platform named WizIQ for a subject named Numerical Method. The research was conducted on 34 respondents from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology of Gadjah Mada University and the Industrial Engineering Department of Islamic University of Indonesia. This research is a pilot project to measure the indicator of effectiveness of the MOOC. The research of the effectiveness is based on 3 aspects which are the Measurability, Engagement, and Satisfaction. Based on the test conducted on the research, the entire data used for the research are valid. The results is based on the normality, validity, and reliability test applied on the data. Results shown the use of MOOC has a 60,1% of effectiveness with satisfation having the greatest impact on its effectiveness.
