Peran dan Interaksi Stakeholders dalam Peningkatan Daya Saing Industri Sepatu Kulit Bantul melalui Sentra Kerajinan Kulit Manding

Daerah lain produsen sepatu kulit di Indonesia tidak memiliki stakeholders kunci berpartisipasi dalam ekspor sepatu kulit Indonesia, sedangkan Bantul memiliki stakeholders kunci ditambah Sentra Kerajinan Kulit Manding tidak ekspor. Jika ekspor sebagai salah satu cara peningkatan daya saing, dengan keunggulan stakeholders kunci yang dimiliki Bantul maka peran dan interaksi stakeholders dalam peningkatan daya saing industri sepatu kulit Bantul melalui Sentra Kerajinan Kulit Manding dipertanyakan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi aktivitas stakeholders utama, mewawancarai seluruh informan dari perwakilan tiap stakeholders, dan mendokumentasikan observasi maupun wawancara informan. Data hasil pengumpulan data kemudian direduksi untuk disajikan dan pada akhirnya disimpulkan. Di tengah kondisi internal dan eksternal industri sepatu kulit Bantul yang lemah, peran dan interaksi stakeholders dalam meningkatkan daya saing belum maksimal karena masing-masing dan antar stakeholder memiliki catatan kritis yang bertentangan dengan bagaimana seharusnya peran dan interaksi untuk meningkatkan daya saing. Penelitian ini menyarankan 1) pelatihan untuk mengubah mindset, utamanya stakeholders utama, 2) pengayaan data sebagai landasan stakeholders untuk bertindak menghasilkan output, 3) musyawarah khusus industri sepatu kulit Bantul, dan 4) penyuluh lapangan sebagai perantara penjaga kualitas interaksi antar stakeholder.
Bantul leather shoe industry has the advantage of key stakeholders in the midst of increasing export growth of Indonesian leather shoes. Other leather shoe manufacturers districts in Indonesia do not have key stakeholders participating in leather shoes export from Indonesian, while Bantul has key stakeholders plus Manding Leather Craft Center does not export. If export is one way of increasing competitiveness, with the advantage of key stakeholders owned by Bantul then the role and interaction of stakeholders in improving the competitiveness of the leather shoe industry of Bantul through the Manding Leather Craft Center is questionable. This research used qualitative research method with descriptive approach. Data collection was done through observation of major stakeholder activities, interviewing all informants from representatives of each stakeholders, and documenting observations and interviews of informants. Collected data was then reduced to be presented and ultimately concluded. In the midst of internal and external condition of Bantul leather shoe industry, the role and interaction of stakeholders in improving competitiveness has not been maximized because each and between stakeholders have critical records that contradict with how should the role and interaction to improve competitiveness be. This research suggests 1) training to change the mindset, particularly the main stakeholders, 2) data enrichment as the stakeholders base to act on producing output, 3) exclusive forum for Bantul leather shoe industry stakeholders, and 4) field extension agents as intermediary who maintaining interaction quality among stakeholders.
