HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEPADATAN PLANKTON DENGAN FAKTOR FISIK KIMIA HABITAT MANGROVE DI KAWASAN REHABILITASI DESA SAWOJAJAR KABUPATEN BREBES

Mangrove di pantai utara Sawojajar, Jawa Tengah termasuk kawasan rehabilitasi yang diharapkan dapat mengembalikan fungsi ekosistem dari kerusakan akibat degradasi. Pemulihan ekosistem mangrove dapat merubah kondisi habitat dan biota mangrove yang ada. Adanya keberadaan plankton dalam ekosistem mangrove berperan sebagai produsen primer, yaitu suplai makanan bagi konsumen perairan (nekton). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi dan kerapatan vegetasi kawasan rehabilitasi mangrove, mengetahui kepadatan jenis plankton dan faktor fisik kimia habitat kawasan rehabilitasi mangrove, dan mengetahui hubungan antara kepadatan plankton dan faktor fisik kimia perairan. Penelitian dilakukan pada tiga tahun tanam, yaitu 2011, 2012, dan 2013 dengan luas sebesar 6 ha, 4 ha, 3 ha dan Intensitas Sampling sebesar 1 %. Petak ukur berukuran 5 m x 5 m sehingga dihasilkan jumlah petak ukurnya sebanyak 54 Petak ukur. Peletakan petak ukur dengan metode sistematik sampling with random start. Data yang diambil pada penelitian ini adalah kerapatan pohon, kepadatan plankton, kedalaman lumpur, kejernihan air, suhu, pH, salinitas, dan kandungan oksigen terlarut. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi dan regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan, diperoleh nilai rata-rata kerapatan pohon dan rata-rata kepadatan plankton tertinggi pada tahun tanam 2011 sebesar 30.066,7 individu/ha dan 211.428,57 individu/ml. Analisis korelasi antara kepadatan plankton dengan faktor fisik kimia habitat mangrove pada ketiga tahun tanam menunjukkan kepadatan plankton tinggi apabila variabel kerapatan pohon dan salinitas juga tinggi. Namun, sebaliknya kepadatan plankton tinggi apabila variabel kejernihan, pH, kedalaman lumpur, suhu, dan oksigen terlarut rendah. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda diperoleh nilai R2 sebesar 0,411.

Mangrove in the north coast of Sawojajar Village, Central Java includes one of rehabilitation areas which are prospected can return mangrove ecosystem's function from mangrove degradation. Mangrove ecosystem's rehabilitation may change the condition of habitat and biota in mangrove. Plankton in mangrove ecosystem acts as primary producer, that is food supplier for consumer of water (nekton). This research aims to know the composition and density of mangrove rehabilitation, to know the density of plankton type and physical chemical properties of water in mangrove rehabilitation area, and to know the relation between plankton density and physical chemical properties of aquatic. The research was conducted on three years planting, there are 2011, 2012, and 2013 with area of 6 ha, 4 ha, and 3 ha and 1% Sampling Intensity. The measuring plot is 5 m x 5 m so as to generate the number of plots of measuring are 54 plots. Plot was layout by systematic sampling method with random start. The data were taken in this research are vegetation density, plankton density, mud depth, water clarity, temperature, pH, salinity, and dissolved oxygen content. Multiple linear correlation and regression analysis were used in this research. The result showed the average value of vegetation density and average plankton highest density in the planting year 2011 amounted to 30,066.7 individuals/ha and 211.428,57 individual/ml. The correlation analysis between plankton density and physical chemical factor of mangrove habitat in the third year of planting showed high plankton density when tree density and salinity variables were also high. However, the opposite of high plankton density if clarity, pH, depth of mud, temperature, and low dissolved oxygen. Results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained value R2 is 0.411.
