PERANCANGAN JADWAL KEDATANGAN TRUK BAHAN BAKU DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE TRUCK TURNAROUND TIME DI PT. MONDELEZ INDONESIA MANUFACTURING

PT. Mondelez Indonesia Manufacturing merupakan salah satu perusahaan besar di Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). Saat ini, PT. Mondelez Indonesia Manufacturing sedang menghadapi sebuah permasalahan yaitu sering terjadi antrian yang melibatkan banyak truk bahan baku hingga ke luar area pabrik. Salah satu penyebab hal ini adalah tingginya waktu antrian dari masing-masing truk yaitu rata-rata sebesar 4 jam/truk. Pada penelitian ini, penulis membuat usulan penjadwalan untuk mengurangi waktu tunggu truk-truk bahan baku. Dalam hal ini, peneliti menggunakan analisis ABC untuk menyeleksi pemasok, metode westinghouse untuk studi waktu dari tiap-tiap proses yang dialami truk, serta metode shortest processing time (SPT) dan longest processing time (LPT) untuk membuat penjadwalan berdasarkan turnaround time tiap-tiap jenis truk. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu usulan jadwal yang dibuat mampu menurunkan waktu tunggu yang diderita truk sebesar 66,36% dengan metode LPT dan 58,75% dengan menggunakan metode SPT.

PT. Mondelez Indonesia Manufacturing is one of the large companies in Indonesia specializing in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) field. At the moment, PT. Mondelez Indonesia Manufacturing is facing a complication in which there is massive line-ups involving raw material trucks that expands outside the area of the factory. One of the reason of this complication is the high number of lining time of each truck, approximately 4 hours/truck. In this research, the researcher proposes a new scheduling system that is possible to reduce the waiting time of the raw material trucks. Therefore, the researcher uses the ABC analysis to opt for the suppliers, Westinghouse method for the duration study of each process that occurs to each truck, and shortest processing time (SPT) and longest processing time (LPT) to create a new schedule based on turnaround time of each truck's type. The result of this research is the proposal of schedule created to enable the reduction of waiting time that occurs to each truck for 66, 36% by LPT method and 58,7% by SPT method.
