REDISTRIBUSI TANAH ABSENTEE DI DESA SUMBERMULYO, KECAMATAN BAMBANGLIPURO, KABUPATEN BANTUL TAHUN 1974-1984

Desa Sumbermulyo merupakan sebuah wilayah yang terletak di Kecamatan Bambanglipuro, Kabupaten Bantul, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Dengan potensi pertanian yang dimiliki, kegiatan pertanian menjadi mata pencaharian utama masyarakat Desa Sumbermulyo. Pada 1974, dilaksanakan redistribusi tanah pertanian absentee di Sumbermulyo yang menunjukan bahwa, terdapat ketimpangan pemilikan terhadap lahan pertanian di wilayah tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pola redistribusi tanah absentee yang terjadi di Desa Sumbermulyo serta kelompok yang terlibat dalam proses dilaksanakannya redistribusi tanah absentee. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian sejarah, yakni pemilihan topik, pengumpulan sumber, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan penulisan. Sumber tertulis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari surat kabar, data statitistik tahun 1979-1985an, dan data arsip Desa Sumbermulyo serta buku-buku penunjang lainnya, sementara sumber lisan didapatkan dari wawancara dengan informan yang berasal dari kalangan masyarakat petani di Desa Sumbermulyo. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa redistribusi tanah absentee di Desa Sumbermulyo tidak memberikan perubahan status kepemilikan tanah bagi masyarakat petani penggarap yang menerima tanah hasil redistribusi, karena masih banyak pemilikan tanah setelah tahun 1974 yang kembali pada pemilik lama. Akar permasalahan tersebut bersifat multidimensional karena meliputi aspek sosial, ekonomi, dan politik.

Sumbermulyo is a region located in Sub-district of Bambanglipuro, Regency of Bantul, Special Region of Yogyakarta. By it's agricultural potential, agricultural economics became the main profession of most people living there. At 1974, redistribution of agricultural land of absentee in Sumbermulyo was conducted that shows there is ownership imbalance of agricultural estate in that area. The aim of this research is to describe the system of redistribution of absentee land which took place in Sumbermulyo yet the group involved in process of absentee land redistribution. The researcher use historical research method in this research, choosing the topic, collecting the source, verification, interpretation, and writing. Written source used in this research taken from news, statistic data year 1979-1985, archived data of Sumbermulyo, and other supportive books, while the spooken sources obtained from interviewing the informant which is one of the farmer society in Sumbermulyo. The result of the research shows that absentee land redistribution in Sumbermulyo did not change the estate ownership status of labored farmer society that earn redistributed land, since there are a lot of land ownership back to the old owner after 1974. The core of the problem is dimensional since comprises social, economic, and politic aspect.
