UJI KULDON�® CAIR TERHADAP PENYEMBUHAN STOMATITIS PADA MEMBRAN MUKOSA MULUT TIKUS BETINA GALUR WISTAR

Sariawan (Stomatitis Aftosa Rekuren) adalah penyakit berbentuk bintik-bintik kecil berupa luka sebesar kepala jarum pentul dan secara makroskopik tampak sebagai garis putih. Kuldon�® sariawan tablet dilaporkan mampu menyembuhkan sariawan. Namun, efek Kuldon�® cair belum diketahui. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan sediaan uji Kuldon�® cair dalam menyembuhkan sariawan yang ditunjukkan dengan penurunan ukuran luas sariawan pada membran mukosa mulut tikus betina galur Wistar. Digunakan tikus betina galur Wistar berjumlah 60 ekor tikus yang dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok tikus, yaitu: kelompok kontrol positif (Albothyl�®), kontrol negatif (akuades), kelompok dosis 0,965 ml/kgBB, 1,930 ml/kgBB dan 3,86 ml/kgBB. Sariawan dibuat dengan cara mengoleskan asam asetat 10% yang sebelumnya dilukai dengan punch biopsy 4 mm. Pada hari ke-4, 7, 10 dan 14 hewan uji dikorbankan dan diambil bagian membran mukosa mulut yang terdapat sariawan untuk dianalisis secara patologi menggunakan mikroskop stereo Olympus�® dengan kamera HD�® perbesaran 25x. Seluruh data gambar sariawan hasil dari mikroskop diukur menggunakan aplikasi Image Pro Plus�® dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Non-Parametrik dan Mann-Whitney. Data yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa Kuldon�® cair dapat memperkecil ukuran luas sariawan sehingga dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Kuldon�® cair dapat menyembuhkan sariawan pada membran mukosa mulut tikus betina galur Wistar.

Thrush (Recurrent Aftosa Stomatitis) is a small spots-shaped disease of a pin head-shaped wound and is macroscopically visible as a white line. Kuldon�® tablets are reported to be able to cure thrush. However, the Kuldon�® liquid effect is unknown. The objective of this research is to know the ability of liquid Kuldon�® test preparation in curing thrush which is indicated by decreasing the size of thrush in mice mouth membrane of female rat Wistar strain. Wistar female rats were 60 rats divided into 5 groups of rats: positive control group (Albothyl�®), negative control (aquadest), dose group 0.965 ml / kgBW, 1.930 ml / kgBW and 3.86 ml / kgBW . Thrush is made by applying 10% acetic acid previously injured with 4 mm punch biopsy. On the 4th, 7th, 10th and 14th day the test animals were sacrificed and part of the oral mucous membranes containing the mouth ulcers for pathological analysis using Olympus�® stereo microscope with a 25x HD�® magnification camera. All image data obtained from the microscope was measured using the Image Pro Plus�® application and analyzed using the Non-Parametric and Mann-Whitney tests. The data obtained show that liquid Kuldon�® can reduce the size of the extent of thrush so that it can be conclude that Kuldon�® liquid can cure thrush on the mucous membrane of the female mouth of Wistar female rats.
