Kritik Sosial dalam Lirik-Lirik Lagu Iwan Fals yang Tidak Dirilis: Analisis Sosiologi Sastra

Penelitian dengan objek kajian lirik-lirik lagu Iwan Fals yang tidak dirilis ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan teori sosiologi sastra dan berfokus pada kritik sosial. Tujuan penelitian ini secara teoretis adalah menganalisis aspek-aspek sosiologis yang meliputi, konteks sosial pengarang, kritik sosial dengan melihat keadaan sosial masyarakat ketika lirik-lirik lagu tersebut diciptakan, dan pengaruh kehidupan sosial pengarang terhadap lirik-lirik lagunya. Selanjutnya, secara praktis tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu pembaca dalam memahami kritik sosial yang terjadi di dalam lirik-lirik lagu Iwan Fals. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis. Metode ini bekerja dengan mendeskripsikan fakta-fakta dalam karya sastra dan kemudian disusul dengan melakukan analisis. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya konteks sosial Iwan Fals sebagai penulis lagu dan musisi, kritik sosial dalam lirik-lirik lagu Iwan Fals yang tidak dirilis dengan melihat kondisi sosial masyarakat ketika lirik-lirik lagu tersebut diciptakan, dan pengaruh kehidupan sosial Iwan Fals terhadap lirik-lirik lagu yang tidak dirilis tersebut. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kritik sosial di dalam karya sastra merupakan gambaran kehidupan masyarakat. Gambaran kritik tersebut seperti ketidakadilan hukum di Indonesia, devaluasi yang terjadi pada masa orde baru, dan masalah-masalah sosial lainnya yang dialami Iwan di masa orde baru. Lirik-lirik lagu Iwan Fals yang tidak dirilis tersebut menjadi media dokumentasi penulis lirik lagu.

The research with the object of study of Iwan Fals lyrics that is unreleased is a research that uses sociology of literature theory and focuses on social criticism. The theoretical purpose of this study is to analyze the sociological aspects that include, the social context of the author, social criticism by looking at the social conditions of society at the time the lyrics of the song was created, and the influence of social life of the author against the lyrics of the song. Furthermore, the practical purpose of this study is to assist the reader in understanding the social criticism that occurs in the lyrics of Iwan Fals song. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method. This method works by describing facts in literary works followed by analyzing process. The result of this study is the discovery of the social context of Iwan Fals as song writer and musician, social criticism in lyrics of Iwan Fals song that are unreleased by looking at the social conditions of society at the time the song were created, and the influence of social life of Iwan Fals towards lyrics of the song that are unreleased. This research shows that social criticism in the literary work is a picture of society life. Criticisms such as the legal injustices in Indonesia, devaluations that occurred during the New Order period, and other social problems that Iwan experienced in the New Order era. Lyrics of Iwan Fals's song that are unreleased became the documentary media of the song's lyrics writer.
