PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN PUPUK TRICHODERMA TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN AKAR STEK PUCUK JATI

Perhutanan klon dibangun dengan menggunakan bibit unggul berkualitas secara fenotip maupun genotip. Untuk mempertahankan sifat unggul dari aspek genetik tersebut maka teknik pembiakan vegetatif stek dilakukan. Kendalanya adalah kesulitan berakar pada beberapa klon tanaman. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pupuk Trichoderma, jenis klon , serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan akar stek pucuk jati. Penelitian dilakukan di persemaian Petak 5 Wanagama 1, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta selama 4 bulan .Rancangan Acak Lengkap Faktorial digunakan dengan 2 faktor utama berupa dosis pupuk Trichoderma(0 gram, 25 gram, 50 gram, dan 75 gram) dan jenis klon(WG1, WG2, dan F35). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk Trichoderma secara nyata meningkatkan jumlah akar primer, panjang akar primer, panjang akar sekunder, biomassa batang+daun, dan jumlah daun stek pucuk jati. Dosis pupuk Trichoderma 75 gram memberikan hasil yang paling baik terhadap jumlah akar primer, biomassa batang+daun, dan jumlah daun. Dosis pupuk Trichoderma 25 gram memberikan hasil yang paling baik terhadap panjang akar primer dan sekunder stek pucuk jati. Jenis klon secara nyata meningkatkan panjang akar sekunder stek pucuk jati, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel pengamatan lain. Klon F35 memberikan pengaruh yang paling baik terhadap panjang akar sekunder stek pucuk jati. Interaksi perlakuan antara dosis pupuk Trichoderma dengan jenis klon secara nyata meningkatkan jumlah daun. Interaksi antara klon F35 dan dosis pupuk 75gram serta klon WG2 dan dosis pupuk 75 gram menghasilkan hasil yang paling baik terhadap jumlah daun stek pucuk jati.

Clonal forestry has been established using the best genotypes and phenotypes planting materials. In order to maintain thegenetically improved materials, the vegetative propagation using cutting method is applied. This method, however is hindered by difficulty in rooting processof some selected clones. This research was conducted to determine effect of the dosage of Trichoderma fertilizer, selected clones, and their interactions on root growth of teak shoot cutting. The research was conducted in Nursery of compartement 5, Wanagama 1, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta for 4 months. A complete randomized factorial design was used with two main factors namely the dosage of Trichoderma fertilizer (0 gram, 25 gram, 50 gram, and 75 gram) and teak clones (WGI, WG2, and F35). Results showed that the dosage of Trichoderma fertilizer significantly improved the number of primary roots, the length of primary and secondary roots, above ground biomass and number of leaves of teak cuttings. The dosage of Trichoderma fertilizer 75 gram gave the best result on number of primary roots, above ground biomass and number of leaves of teak cuttings. The dosage of Trichoderma fertilizer 25 gram gave the best result on the length of primary and secondary roots of teak cutting. Clones significantly improved the length of secondary roots of teak cuttings, but not other variables. Clone number F35 gave the best result on the length of secondary roots of teak cuttings. The interaction between Trichoderma fertilizer and clones significantly improved the number of leaves of teak cutting. The interaction between clone number F35 and clone number WG2 with dosage of Trichoderma fertilizer 75 gram gave the best resulton the number of leaves of teak cutting
