TIPOMORFOLOGI FASADE BANGUNAN PERTOKOAN DI SEPANJANG RUAS JALAN MALIOBORO, YOGYAKARTA

Fasad merupakan komponen yang penting dalam bangunan pertokoan di Malioboro, karena elemen ini merupakan bagian yang pertama kali diapresiasi oleh publik. Dengan sejarah yang telah dialami, fasad bangunan di Malioboro mengindikasikan adanya homogenitas tipologi fasad. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan tipomorfologi fasad bangunan pertokoan di jalan Malioboro. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan rasionalistik dan metode kualitatif deduktif. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat 13 tipe fasad bangunan yang terbentuk. Seluruhnya dikategorikan menjadi dua golongan besar, yaitu fasad bangunan yang tidak berubah dan fasad yang berubah. Morfologi yang mempengaruhi kedua golongan tersebut adalah karena faktor kepemilikan bangunan dan faktor ekonomi. Tipomorfologi fasad mengungkapkan tidak adanya hubungan antara fasad dengan komoditas barang dagangan, namun ada hubungan antara fasad bangunan dengan lokasi toko.

The facade is an important component in the building of shops in Malioboro, because this element is the first part of public appreciation. With the history experienced, the facade of the building in Malioboro indicates the homogeneity of facade typology. The purpose of this research is to formulate typomorphology of building facades in Malioboro street. This research uses rationalistic approach and deductive qualitative method. The results revealed that there are 13 types of building facades that formed. All of them are categorized into two big groups, namely the unchanging facade of the building and the changing facade. The morphology that affects the two groups is due to factors of building ownership and economic factors. Tipomorphology of the facade reveals no relationship between the facade with commodity merchandise, but there is a relationship between the facade of the building with the location of the store.
