STATUS KARANTINA SERANGGA YANG BERASOSIASI DENGAN KOMODITAS PERTANIAN ASAL TIMOR LESTE MELALUI WILAYAH KERJA KARANTINA PERTANIAN MOTA'AIN-KABUPATEN BELU

Timor Leste merupakan salah satu Negara pengekspor produk pertanian ke Indonesia melalui pos lintas batas Mota'ain-Kabupaten Belu. Komoditas impor dari Negara tersebut dimungkinkan sebagai media pembawa OPTK masuk ke Indonesia. Status karantina serangga yang berasosiasi dengan komoditas impor tersebut telah dikaji. Pengambilan sampel komoditas impor pada alat angkut Truk bak terbuka dan barang tentengan pelintas menggunakan Pedoman Pengambilan Contoh Produk Tumbuhan-Badan Karantina Pertanian dengan metode Non-Statistik (convenience). Sampel komoditas yang berbentuk biji atau butiran diambil sebanyak 250 gram, sedangkan bentuk lainnya sebanyak 500 gram. Sampel sebanyak 40 unit diambil dari tujuh macam komoditas. Sampel komoditas disimpan selama 30 hari di laboratorium hama Balai Karantina Pertanian Kelas I Kupang. Spesimen serangga yang ditemukan diidentifikasi dan ditentukan status karantinanya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa serangga yang ditemukan yang berasosiasi dengan enam macam komoditas sebanyak delapan spesies, sedangkan pada satu sampel lainnya yaitu beras tidak ditemukan serangga. Pada kopi robusta ditemukan Necrobia rufipes, Hypothenemus hampei, Cryptolestes ferrugineus, Pyralis manihotalis. Pada kopi arabika ditemukan H. hampei, C. ferrugineus. Pada kopra ditemukan N. rufipes, Carpophilus dimidiatus. Pada kacang merah ditemukan Callosobruchus chinensis. Pada kacang merah/kacang koro/kedelai ditemukan C. chinensis, C.dimidiatus, Sitopilus oryzae. Pada kemiri ditemukan Oryzaephylus surrinamensis, C. dimidiatus. Semua serangga yang ditemukan tersebut berstatus Organisme Pengganggu Tumbuhan (OPT). Serangga yang berasosiasi dengan sampel komoditas pertanian paling tinggi dari 40 unit sampel adalah serangga H. hampei yang ditemukan pada sampel kopi arabika yaitu 62,3 individu. Serangga N. rufipes pada sampel komoditas kopra muncul pada hari ke 25 sesudah pengambilan sampel atau paling cepat diantara serangga lainnya. Sedangkan pada sampel komoditas tentengan serangga yang berasosiasi lebih tinggi adalah C. chinensis pada sampel komoditas tentengan campuran kacang merah/kedelai yaitu sebanyak 17 individu dan muncul lebih cepat pada hari ke 27 setelah pengambilan sampel dilakukan.

Timor Leste is one of the exporting countries of agricultural products to Indonesia via the Mota'ain-Belu Regency cross-border. Imported commodities from the country are possible as Pest Quarantine (PQ) carrier media into Indonesia. The status of insect quarantine associated with imported commodities has been studied. Sampling of imported commodities on conveyance of open trucks and passenger bags using the Agricultural Quarantine Product Sampling Guidelines using the Non- Statistic method (convenience). Sample of commodities in the form seeds or grains taken as much as 250 grams, while other forms as much as 500 grams. The sample of 40 units is taken from seven commodities. The commodity samples were stored for 30 days at the laboratory of Agricultural Quarantine office at Kupang. This is because the life cycle of postharvest insects ranges from 3-5 weeks. Specimens of the identified insects were identified and determined the status of the quarantine. The results showed that the insects found in association with six kinds of commodities were eight species, while in one other sample the rice was not found insect. In robusta coffee found Necrobia rufipes, Hypothenemus hampei, Cryptolestes ferrugineus, and Pyralis manihotalis. In arabica coffee found H. hampei, and C. ferrugineus. In copra was found N. rufipes, and Carpophilus dimidiatus. In red beans are found Callosobruchus chinensis. In mixed red beans, peanuts, and soybeans was found C. chinensis, C. dimidiatus, and Sitopilus oryzae. In the candlenut was found Oryzaephylus surrinamensis, and C. dimidiatus. All of the insects found in the plant pest organism status. The insects associated with the highest sample of agricultural commodities from 40 sample units were H. hampei insects found in arabica coffee samples of 62.3 individuals. N. rufipes insects in copra commodity samples appeared on the 25th day after sampling or fastest among other insects. While on commodity of passenger bags insect which associate higher is C. chinensis on commodity sample of passenger bags, mixed red beans; soybeans; that is as many as 17 individual and appear faster at day 27 after sampling done.
