KORELASI ANTARA PAPARAN KONTRASEPSI HORMONAL TERHADAP EKSPRESI MESSENGER RNA RESEPTOR PROGESTERON DAN RESEPTOR ESTROGEN PADA PASIEN MENINGIOMA ORBITOKRANIAL

2017 | Tesis-Spesialis | SP ILMU PENYAKIT MATATujuan : Untuk menemukan hubungan antara penggunaan kontrasepsi hormonal dan ekspresi reseptor progesteron dan estrogen pada pasien meningioma orbitokranial. Metode: Pasien meningioma wanita dari 2010-2016 diwawancara dan blok parafin jaringan meningioma mereka diperiksa menggunakan quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction untuk mengukur ekspresi reseptor estrogen (ER) dan reseptor progesteron (RP). Hasil : Tiga puluh satu pasien tergabung dalam penelitian ini. Median ekspresi REalpa pada grup kontrasepsi progesteron (A), grup progesteron dan estrogen (B), dan grup tanpa kontrasepsi (C) adalah 6,96; 6,50; dan 4,00 dengan p=0,702; median REbeta adalah 10,56; 9,19; dan 11,31 dengan p=0,477; median RP adalah 21,11;29,86; dan 27,86 dengan p=0,772. Median ekspresi REalpa pada grup penggunaan kontrasepsi 10 tahun dan >10 tahun adalah 6,50 dan 6,96 dengan p=0,847. Median ekspresi REbeta adalah 6,06 (2,30- 11,31) dan 13,00(1,87-42,22) dengan p=0,022. Median ekspresi RP adalah 21,11 dan 24,25 dengan p=0,809. Korelasi antara durasi kontrasepsi dan ekspresi REalpa, REbeta, RP adalah r =-0,043(p=0,829), r = 0,440 (p=0,019), dan r = 0,052 (p=0,792). Simpulan : Ekspresi REbeta lebih tinggi secara signifikan pada durasi kontrasepsi >10 tahun dan berkorelasi positif terhadap durasi penggunaan kontrasepsi. Durasi kontrasepsi tidak berhubungan dengan ekspresi REalpa dan PR. Jenis kontrasepsi tidak berhubungan dengan ekspresi REalpa, REbeta, dan PR.
Purpose : To find correlation between hormonal contraception use and expression of progesterone and estrogen receptor in orbitocranial meningioma patient. Methods : Women meningioma patients from 2010-2016 were interviewed and the parafin blocks containing their meningioma tissue were examined using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction to measure estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) expression. Results : Thirty one patients were included in this study. The expression median of ERalpa in rogesterone contraception group (A), progesterone and estrogen group (B), and no contraception group (C) were 6.96, 6.50, and 4.00 respectively with p = 0.702; ERbeta median were 10.56,9.19, and 11.31 with p = 0.477; PR median were 21.11, 29.86, and 27.86 with p = 0.772. The expression median of 10 years contraception duration of use and >10 years duration for ERalpa were 6.50 and 6.96 with p = 0.847. Expression median of ERbeta were 6.06 (2.30-11.31) and 13.00 (1.87-42.22) with p = 0.022. Expression median of PR were 21.11 and 24.25 with p = 0.809. The correlation between contraception duration and expression of ERalpa, ERbeta, and PR were r = -0.043 (p = 0.829), r = 0.440 (p = 0.019), and r = 0.052 (p = 0.792). Conclusion : Expression of ERbeta was significantly higher in duration of contraceptive use >10 years and positively correlated with the contraceptive duration of use. Duration of contraception use were not correlated with the expression of ERalpa and PR. The type of contraception was not related to the expression of ERalpa, ERbeta, and PR.
