Program Guru Bahagia untuk Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Subjektif Guru Honorer

Beragam kompleksitas yang dihadapi oleh profesi guru honorer sangat berpotensi mengancam kesejahteraan subjektif mereka. Upaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan subjektif mereka pun menjadi begitu mendesak, tidak semata-mata menjadikan mereka lebih bahagia, tetapi juga memperbaiki kualitas kinerja mereka sebagai aktor krusial dalam mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memeriksa pengaruh pelatihan mindfulness bernama Program Guru Bahagia dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan subjektif guru honorer. Program ini terdiri dari 11 sesi yang dilakukan dalam 5 kali pertemuan. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest-posttest using a double pretest, melibatkan 14 partisipan. Tingkat mindfulness partisipan diukur menggunakan Kentucky Inventory Mindfulness Scale (KIMS), sementara tingkat kesejahteraan subjektif diukur menggunakan Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWSL) serta Positive and Negative Scale (PANAS). Pengkategorian data menggunakan uji statistik hipotetik terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan subjektif menunjukkan bahwa 78,57% partisipan mengalami kenaikan kategori skor setelah diberikan intervensi, yaitu sangat rendah-rendah (7%); sangat rendah-tinggi (7%); sangat rendah-sangat tinggi (28,57%); rendah-tinggi (7%); rendah-sangat tinggi (21,43); tinggi-sangat tinggi (7%), sementara 21,43% lainnya tetap. Uji Chi-Square menunjukkan Program Guru Bahagia secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap meningkatnya kesejahteraan subjektif guru honorer. Dapat disimpulkan pelatihan mindfulness bernama Program Guru Bahagia efektif untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan subjektif profesi guru honorer. Selanjutnya, pelatihan mindfulness perlu dikembangkan dalam berbagai media pembelajaran agar dapat menjangkau atau diakses oleh guru-guru honorer secara lebih luas.

The variety of complexity faced by temporary teachers on a daily basis could potentially threaten their subjective well being. Efforts to increase their subjective well-being have become a crucial issue, not only to help them feel happiness, but also to improve their performance in their role as educators of young generations in this nation. The purpose of this research was to asses the affect of a mindfulness training program called Happy Teachers Program in increasing subjective well-being of temporary teachers. The program consist of 11 sessions conducted in 5 meetings. The design of this researched used one group pretest-posttest using a double pretest, involving 14 participants. The participant level of mindfulness were measured using Kentucky Inventory Mindfulness Scale (KIMS), while their level of subjective well-being was measured using Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWSL) and Positive and Negative Scale (PANAS). Categorization used hypothetic statistic test of the subjective well-being level which showed that 78.57% of the participants experienced an increase in their score categories after intervention, which were very low-low (7%); very low-high (7%); very low-very high (28.57%); low-high (7%); low-very high (21.43%); high-very high (7%), while the other 21.43% had experienced no difference. Chi-Square test showed that the Happy Teachers Program had significantly affected in the improvement of the teacher subjective well-being. It can be concluded that the mindfulness training program called Happy Teachers Program was effective in increasing the subjective well-being of temporary teachers. Next, the mindfulness training program needs further development in various learning media so it could reach or accessed by other temporary teachers.
