ABSTRACT Environmental pollution caused by garbage and waste makes water wells and rivers in the RT 3 RW 1, Dangkel Village no longer eligible for public use. This causes people difficulty in accessing clean water. Through the provision of clean water program funded by PNPM Urban, the community managed to overcome the problem of the difficulty of access to clean water. The success of the program provision of clean water is a manifestation of good local governance. Because in this program there are synergies between the role of government, public participation and the role of the private sector in achieving program goals provision of clean water. The purpose of this study was to determine how the role of government, community and private sector in realizing good local governance, provision of clean water in RT 3 RW 1, Dangkel Village. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The means used in data collection are observation, interview and documentation. Then techniques to analyze the gathered data is qualitative descriptive analytical method. Research findings indicate that the role of government is to increase the capacity of communities through training and assistance to be able to conduct the construction of water supply and also supervise construction of water supply activities at the community level. While the role of the community is the primary implementors construction of water supply and also the sacrifice of time, money, energy and thoughts for the achievement of the development goals of clean water in RT 3 RW 1, Dangkel Village. While the private sector's role is to assist the public in locating the source of the water and also leads community service projects in the process of making a clean water source.
