ABSTRACT The National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) Representative of East Java Province has a website with a domain name of jatim.bkkbn.go.id. The management of this website is implemented by Regulation of the Head of BKKBN (Center) No. 136/PER/D2/2011 on the Management of Public Information of the National Population and Family Planning Board to realize more transparent, accountable, participatory, effective, and efficient reform and governance. In the operation, BKKBN website of East Java has its own peculiarities compared to other BKKBN websites in Indonesia. In addition to the more attractive website design because it uses animation, BKKBN website of East Java also applies interactive elements as a form of transparency and participation in the realization of public information disclosure. In terms of content management, however, BKKBN website of East Java still needs to be improved, thus the purpose of this study is to determine the management of BKKBN website of East Java as the government’s website. The analysis of this study refers to the management process of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling which is then linked to the concept of government websites. The method used is qualitative, while the strategy used is a case study with a source of primary data obtained through interviews conducted by the manager of the BKKBN website of East Java and is supported by other documentation materials. Based on the results, visually BKKBN website of East Java is basically quite informative and interactive coupled with pretty good appearance when compared to other BKKBN websites, but what needs to be improved is the content management that has not performed optimally because it is obstructed a number of constraints.
