ABSTRAK This thesis explained the responds of The Japanese Government toward provocative actions of the People’s Republic of China in the China Sea. As the rising of China from both economic and military sector, china growing further as a more tangible threat to Japan, and by referring deeper to its dynamic relationship and views from both leaders this could prove that the interactions is indeed unique. But, despite the long and winding history of tension between both nations, Japan seems not to take any aggressive responses. And finally under the leadership of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Japan compose an elaborate strategy to respond Chinese threat due to its dilemmatic position among the regional economic allies and trans-pacific allies. This thesis could provide the readers with a much elaborated explanation about this perspective. Keywords: Japan, China, Threat, East Asia, Danger of Collision.
