Proses Adaptasi Pasangan Perkawinan Campur:(Studi kasus Pasangan Perkawinan Campuran di Yogyakarta)

ABSTRACT According to Marriage Law No.1/1974, Mixed-marriage was a marriage between two person whose have different citizenship and one of them have an Indonesian citizenship. This marriage was common in tourist-frequented regions and also regions who inhabited by foreign workers in long period. In Indonesia, this marriage was common in tourism-based region and one of them was in Yogyakarta. Based on City of Jogja’s Depatement of Population and Civil Registration, in 2013 until 2015 have been recorded 21 applicants for mixed-marriage in that region. This research will discuss about adaptation process from some mixedmarriage couple, particularly from foreign view to adjust with culture and way of Yogyakarta’s society. In this research, the writer use a qualitative method approach with case study to seen an mixed-marriage couple’s adaptation process to blended in culture and costum of Yogyakarta. For the analyze tool of this research, the writer using a habitus theory by Pierre Bourdieu to knows an adaptation process which that couple do to adapt with nearby society. Main purpose from this research otherwise to fulfill academic requirement are to knows about how patterns of adaptation from mixed-marriage couples be held, and how they can their difference barrier especially if one of them getting trouble with his/her partner or society nearby due to cultural difference. A conclusion could answer main question of this research; there are patterns of adaptation yang doing by mixed-marriage couples and can be categorized by three tiers which is high, middle, and weak of adaptation. A couple can said to have a high score if in adaptation process they can convert their difference as an advantage to adapt so the other people cannot seen difference between or forgot their barrier, A couple can be said to have a middle score if the other people still realize their barrier but attempted to accepted their difference, meanwhile weak score can be awarded to a couple if they cannot convert their difference as an advantage so the other people can be seen their difference and still reluctant tried to break the barrier, even though a couple manage to reducing the difference.
