Ratih TV dan In FM sebagai Media Kehumasan Pemerintah Kabupaten Kebumen

ABSTRACS Since the ratification of Undang-Undang Nomor 32 Tahun 2002 about Broadcasting has brought a new consequences for the government broadcasters as well as local government TV and Local Government Broadcast Radio (RSPD), on that legislation there are only four forms of broadcasters in the broadcasting system in Indonesia: Private Broadacsting Institution and Public Broadcasting Institution. Local Government TV and RSPD must choose one of that four forms, most of broadcasters government choose to transform into public service broadcasters. This research used a case study on Ratih TV and Radio In Fm which was once a Broadcast Media of Kebumen Local Government. This research focused to see the utilization of Radio In Fm Public Broadcasting Institution and Ratih TV by the Public Relation of Kebumen Distiric as a public relation media. Based on obtained data through the observation and indepth interviews with relevant parties researcher found the tug between local government interests and public service broadcasters idealism. The result of the study showed that Ratih TV and In Fm is not yet fully be a public broadcasting media.
