ABSTRACT This research took up a theme that is parent education aspirations tp education children in the family origins of the homesteader Kebumen in the village of Bayas Jaya. This study, the researchers wanted to see how the aspirations of the parents of the child to education homesteader family against the backdrop of the region namely Kebumen is relaed to the economic aspects and education. Economic aspects and education becomes a reference in analisa researchs results. This research used the qualitative approach with thus type of case study research. Source obtained from the family of the original homesteader Kebumen in the village of Bayas Jaya with two aspects, namely economic and education as a background retrieval of informants. This research was conducted in the village of transmigration in 198 of the former village of Bayas Jaya located in Indragiri Hilir regency, Riau. The result of the research we can see from two aspects that became comerstone of the economic aspects of research and education. On economic aspects that the aspirations of parent is cloely associated with the economic ability of the homesteader’s family. The economy became the main support in providing aspiration towards the child’s education. On the aspect of education that the educational level of the family became a sparate section in the aspirations of the homesteader’s family. Families who already have a high level of education will be able to give good eduvation aspirations for his children.
