Musrenbang Perempuan sebagai Arena Perjuangan Kesetaraan Perempuan di Kabupaten Lombok Timur Nusa Tenggara Barat

The strength of patriarchal culture complicate women's space to fight for their own interests, so that women's problem are often marginalized. This condition become more complicated by the low of women's participation in the development process, especially in the planning phase. Later, LPSDM initiated Planning and Developing Forum (musrenbang) for women as an arena to fight for women's equality. This musrenbang present as a phenomenon of the influx of grassroot community in the circles of region political elite through bureaucracy channel. This research's purpose is to explain and analyze the role of LPSDM in the fight for women's musrenbang as an arena to struggle women's equality in East Lombok. In this research, the framework is built by the women’s issues caused by gender inequality that can not solved properly by the government. Then that issues is responded by LPSDM through its program which in accordance with the organization goals. LPSDM’s activities in various communities of women at the grassroot level, finally encourage behavioral changes of the LPSDM’s target group of women. So that, those changes give an impact on the development process in Lombok Timur. Although women's musrenbang cannot fully replace conventional musrenbang, they were done side by side as one of affirmative action policy in the region of East Lombok. This research used qualitative with a case study approach which will generate the explanation and analysis about setting, actor's mapping, actor's activity, the process of change and the strategy that used in the change and also the implication of that change.
