ABSTRACT Natural disasters constitute phenomenon natural which can raises many detriment. One of the efforts of Disaster Risk Reducation (DRR) is through networking which the local government with related government with disaster. Networking in this case is the cooperation in disaster menagement Merapi Volcanoes located in two provinces and four districts. The presence of the networks to reduce losses incured from the eruption Merapi Volcanoes. In this study, the main research location focused on the study disaster managed by the Regional Disaster Management Agency located in five regions that is Yogyakarta, Sleman, Magelang, Boyolali and Klaten district. The method used the descriptive qualitative research methods. Data was collected through interviews , hard and soft file of the relevant office and online data. The survey results relaved not round regions do network in the form of cooperation in disaster management Merapi Volcanoes because it not abut directly. In this research governmental cooperation in the region bordering directly such as cooperation with the Sleman and Magelang regency of Klaten regency because it borders directly.
