ABSTRACT The front-page of a newspaper is the most important section in a newspaper. News which appear on the front-page is considered to be the most important news of the day. This section reflects the newspaper agenda which is the priority of attention on issues and events sets by newspaper. The agenda attention diversity of a newspaper is a continuum between a total concentration and total diversity. Using Simpson’s D to measure diversity score, this research tries to compare the agenda attention diversity in the front-page of Kompas and Jawa Pos throughout 2015. This research mainly focus on diversity of themes and actors. The results shows that both of newspapers yield the high score in diversity, despite of the concentration on some main themes and actors.
