Abstract The utilization of media has been significantly shifted for the last decade. Especially after the emergence of internet and followed by its interactivity built by the social media. Social media enables its user to communicate without being limited by the space and time. Moreover, the social media is not only utilized by the individual, but also by the government, organization, and other social groups through their own channel. Lingkar Komik as a content creator created for the purpose of preaching, utilize its social media channel as a platform to spread its preaching. As a team that consists of several members, Lingkar Komik started as a small group aimed to produce Islamic message through comic. However, the group not only has to deal with the Islamic rule especially in drawing, it also need to arrange a strategy in order to extend its reach to bigger audience. This case becomes the focus of this research to find out how Lingkar Komik produce its Islamic message through its facebook fanpage. This research uses the case study research method, in which the result shows that Islamic comic as one of the comic genre, holds the potential to grow. As a content creator focused on its genre Lingkar Komik receive a good acceptance by the social media users. By maximizing its human resource combined with a more structured share of work, Lingkar Komik has potentially become one of the professional Islamic content creator in Indonesia.
