During August, this news topic is constantly reported by Kompas and Koran Tempo. This phenomenon comes from events of video about invitation to join the ISIS was uploading on sharing video website by indonesian citizen whom sympathizer the ISIS. That event triggers a variety of responses from various parties, especially the government. ISIS is actually a name of a radical Islamic militia group in the Middle East meant even defined with all sorts of things. News in the Kompas and Koran Tempo framed in such a way ISIS start defining it as a movement, doctrine, plague, to understand or ideology. The definition also associated with concepts such as radicalism, fundamentalism and terrorism are not getting information as well. Therefore, the meaning of what is ISIS has increasingly blurred. The research method uses Pan and Kosicki framing analysis which is has a constructionist paradigm. The analysis is built based on a qualitative descriptive analysis as a knife of analysis. Some news from Kompas and Koran Tempo who preach an invitation to join the ISIS has selected for an operation in framing the analysis unit. This research is expected to find a frame invitation to join ISIS news in the Kompas and Koran Tempo. Hopefully this research can be a reference for related research news in the media, news frame and media content, as well as the issue of relations between the media and Islamic radicalism.
