Diplomasi Pariwisata Asean di Pasar Global

2016 | Skripsi | Ilmu Hubungan InternasionalABSTRACT Tourism as one of the sectors that can sustain ASEAN region’s economy is considered as the strategic sectors. Liberalization of trade in tourism services among ASEAN member countries has been conducted for almost for 15 years. With the tremendous opportunities and tourism potential of South East Asia, ASEAN is able to compete with other regions in the world. This is evidenced by the increasing number of tourists from year to year, even average tourism growth of ASEAN reached the highest rate in the global tourism growth. Then, the question arises related to it: How does ASEAN countries build a collective strategy to absorb tourists in the global tourism market? By using the theory of two-track diplomacy, this study seeks to understand, explain, as well as answering the question. In addition, the theory is useful and relevant to view of the obstacles of the diplomacy by state and non-state actors. Keywords: Collective Strategy, ASEAN Tourism, Diplomacy.
