2016 | Skripsi | SosiologiABSTRACTION This study aims to identify the elements of social capital consisting of trust, norms, social values and social networks are owned by small entrepreneurs, especially crackers entrepreneurs in the Margaluyu village, Ciamis. These aspects are examined in this study is the first, aspects that affect the establishment of trust. The seconds, both norms and social values are preserved in every relationship forged by small entrepreneurs. The third, structure of social networks that show relationships that are owned by small entrepreneurs as well as the intensity of the employer relationship with its social network. This study uses qualitative research case study format. The data collection was done by using observation and interviews of six small entrepreneurs and other parties related to such workers, the head of the Department of Industry at the Industry and Trade Cooperative Ciamis district, and the village chief Margaluyu. In addition to obtaining additional data this study also used documentation techniques. Data analysis was performed using models of Miles and Huberman consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study show the variation of social capital is owned by small entrepreneurs who play a role in business development. There are entrepreneurs that strengthen social networks, beliefs, and values and social norms only through social ties that had such ties of kinship, neighborhoods, and friendship. But some employers are also developing social capital through membership in a network. In this case the network is Koperasi Serba Usaha Ikhtiar Swadaya Mitra Suburjaya. The results of this study showed a difference gaining access to achieve the successful development of business among entrepreneurs who are members of cooperatives to develop social capital by entrepreneurs who develop social capital in private. Although in terms of business turnover has not shown a significant difference, but entrepreneurs who participated in the cooperative as an effort to develop social capital have more open access to a variety of things such as get training facilities, financial assistance, and more. Small entrepreneurs who are members of cooperatives also tend to have good relations and cooperation with other small businesses. Therefore, the institution which in this case is the cooperatives have an important role in facilitating the formation of social capital small entrepreneurs who are also instrumental in achieving the successful business development.
