Abstract This research discusses the role of youth organization namely ASEAN Youth Friendship Network in enhancing student awareness toward ASCC. Therefore, this study aims to identify and describe the role of AYFN as youth organization in Southeast Asia in enhancing student awareness toward ASEAN Socio – Cultural Community. Its role will be discussed in three parts such as instrument, forum, and actor. Besides, this research also aims to explain how far AYFN could strengthen youth awareness toward ASCC. The youth here is specifically addressed to the member of AYFN and the awareness will be anlyzed by sense of community theory whose elements are trust, solidarity, and sense of belonging. This researh is a qualitative research. Data was taken by in depth interview with informants, observation, and secondary data analysis. The results show the role of AYFN as instrument, forum, and actor has contribution in emergence of sense of community dimensions thus AYFN played role in strengthening youth awareness toward ASCC. This could be seen by the existence of trust, solidarity, and sense of belonging toward ASCC in every informant. Key words: AYFN, Role, Sense of Community
