Analisis Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Efektivitas Pengelolaan Kawasan Kuliner Gladag Langen Bogan(Galabo) di Kota Solo

ABSTRACT Culinary tourism is a form of special interest tourism that favored by many people these days. Traditional cuisine can be noted as a tourism asset that can contribute to own-source revenue. Gladag Langen Bogan (Galabo) is one of goverment policy to respon this phenomenon. The presence of culinary area that become the center of traditional cuisine and brand of cuisine that already well-known hopefully can draw public interest to come in. After 8 years, Gladag Langen Bogan (Galabo) still have to struggle in maintaining it existence. Economically, Gladag Langen Bogan (Galabo) could not yet be contribution for targeted own-source revenue. In 2015, own-source revenue from culinary sector could only reach 3,6% from expected number. For tourism side, Gladag Langen Bogan (Galabo) popularity still lose to milk bar and wedanganthat can be found easily trough the city at the time by resident of the city. In other side, the visitors of Gladag Langen Bogan (Galabo) mainly dominated by the people from out of the town. This researah use a qualitative descriptive type. Data collection techniques in this research are indepth interview, observation and literature study. The informants in this research are 16 persons consist of the head Of UPTD Kuliner of Solo, 5 of Gladag Langen Bogan (Galabo)’s tenant and 10 of visitors that randomly chosen. Data analysis consist of three step, the first one is data simplification, then data presentation and finnaly the conclusion. The result of this research showed that: (1) Place, product, price and promotion can affect the management effectivity of Gladag Langen Bogan (Galabo) (2) Promotion become the most significant factor yet the implementation still low (3) Price is the least significant factor espesially for the visitors from outside the town. The recommendation that can be provide are: (1) Maximizing the promotion (2) re-arrange the space to increase aesthetic value (2) Provide supporting public transporation system (4) Raise the variation of entertainment.
