ABSTRACT The development of digital era in the realm of photo documentation genre in Yogyakarta, led to various classifications of photographers. There are four classifications of the photographer who took the photo documentation genre, among others; itinerant photographers, freelancers, mini studio and home studio. These fourth classifications of photographer, each has specialized photography and segmentation, but in common have choosing graduation photo segmentation for commercial purposes. In the growing of competitor in commercial photo service for graduation photo industry segments, make it easier for consumers choosing a photographer classification based on economic viability and consumer tastes to perpetuate the graduation event. Therefore, the vendors of mini photo studio create the Association of Photographers Yogyakarta (PFY). The purpose of this research is to identify the form of trust, norms and networks which are built into the Association of Photographers Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique use observation, interview and documentation. Observation and documentation is done to obtain a picture of the site condition and see the diversity in Association of Photographers Yogyakarta. Deep interviews has conducted at the senior graduation photographers, freelance photographers, the itinerant photographers, the photographer's home studio, administrators and actor mini studio photographers who are members of the association. The results showed that there are three elements that became the capital in PFY: trust, norms and networks. Trust becomes a major of the association to establish relationships among the member of PFY. Through a trust established among the photographer, creates a norm to keep the relations with the organizers of the graduation event in order PFY has the priority in managing the mini studio tent. Organized internal competition between mini studio vendors still persist although mini studio management system hand managed in the association. Relationships and interactions within the association established a network to expand cooperation with several universities in Yogyakarta. Network which has been built become PFY strategy to maintain the existence in the management of mini studio among the developement of photography industry of graduation photo segment. The dynamics of three elements of social capital that is happened in the PFY make this association an exclusive form. Through those three elements, trust which forms the norm in creating the network, become a form of social importance in the Association of Photographers Yogyakarta to achieve common goals.
