Dampak Kemunculan Ojek Online dalam Kehidupan Ojek Pangkalan di Wilayah Kota Jakarta

2016 | Skripsi | SosiologiABSTRACT Ojek is a motorcycle tax service as individual transport modes, where the motorcycle is owned by individuals unlike other modes of transportation, such as other public transport like buses, trains, and others. On the modern era, there is a technological innovation services to develops relationship of customer and the service provider of motorcycle tax. And now this is called as Ojek Online. Furthermore, Ojek Online attends and brings changes to the system of transportation in the capital city, especially Ojek Bases. In the near future around two to four months, the company will recruits up to ten thousands drivers for Ojek Online and most of them are people who already have jobs whose think less yield and also the unemployed are so confused to looking for job in the capital, although there are several among old Ojek had joined to the Ojek Online. However, there are also Ojek Bases drivers who thinks rationality about not to want share the yield to companies such as Ojek Online, or they think as Ojek Bases is enough for their needs. Additionally, they have rationality and also they have social capital where they have a networks will make them survive to become an Ojek Bases. To find out what kind of impact that occurred on Ojek Bases, researcher used qualitative research methods and using the Qualitative Descriptive. Where the subjects of this studies are those of an Ojek Bases drivers in the capital city. This subject determined by determining the location of the Ojek Bases, where the location of Ojek Bases location are differents each other, and also have different patterns, both of the number of members, and the location of the base in the middle of the village, on the edge of the roadway, and so on. Data collection techniques are informal interviews by doing a trip on Ojek, Goal of this method to get more open mind from informant, field observations, and the documentation is both primary and secondary. Data analisys on this studies using by Analitical Qualitative Descriptive, as data collecting, reduction data, and then make a conclusions from the data was collection before. The results from this studies are the sustainability of Ojek Bases on the beginning of Ojek Online is so difficult, cause of trend, and price are very interesting to take the hearts of the people in the capital city. There are have different impact among Ojek Bases from differences by location at any places. Among of them, they are turning into other jobs because they do not have a customer and also they can not join to Ojek Online. Furthermore, any of them maintain their bases and unwilling to become an Ojek Online drivers eventhough they got an offer from the company to simplify of the registration process. Its causes disappointment, and the conclusion of their own thinking about Ojek Online. In addition, there are so many people choose to still as an Ojek Bases because social capital networks they had with people around their bases. And that people still used Ojek Bases and they are able to survive during the crisis of Ojek services.
