Ilmu Sosiatri)ABSTRACT Women development must be seen as an attempt to fulfill women's rights and became main focus in development policies nowadays. There is a way to achieve that goals by build an economic empowering based on group infocus. This research examines the process of woman empowering group located in the village Banyuraden, named Kelompok Wanita Tani Ratu Mulyo. Members of the group were women, with aim to get well trained in softskills and economic purpose such credits loan or micro-credit activity. This study used qualitative research method with descriptive analysis approach. Researcher observed all the facts occurred in the field to get a complete description of empowering process by the group. In the process, purposive sampling technique used to determine informants. this technique applied by choose targets which associated with unit of analysis. Informan in this research including local Government of Banyuraden, Kelompok Wanita Tani Ratu Mulyo, residents and field officer of BP3K Gamping. This research also using observation method, which is find the relevant answers according to research problems. The result shows that Kelompok Wanita Tani Ratu Mulyo has given many benefits in activities as women's empowerment. This is proof that member capabilities increased and became economically independent by participate in group activities, such as business training and micro-credit activities. Moreover there was other benefits including community organization ability and technology educated, which is make great impact on increasing social welfare.In the middle of the process of empowerment, the group does not stand independent, but they also got some help from BP3K Gamping and support from the local government to achieving their goals. In the other side this group also facing many dinamics and problems during their empowerment process. Key Words: Community Empowerment, Woman, Group Dynamics
