ABSTRACT A Social Movement or Rejection Movement appears as refflection of fighting against State which has power to make decision. Embrio of Wahana Tri Tunggal (WTT) Movement is Adisutjipto Airport Relocation issue issued by Government to Temon district area, Kulonprogo Regency. This issue implied to a strain and stress felt by people toward bad impacts to Temon society. Then this dynamics forced people to reject and deliver their disagreement toward government decision, by making a movement to facilitate this rejection action, called Wahana Tri Tunggal (WTT) movement. Based on the dynamics that happened, researcher formulated the problem as follow : “How Wahana Tri Tunggal (WTT) movement can appear new airport building rejection in Temon district, Kulonprogo Regency ?” Method used is qualitative method with case study approach, in order to make problem seems objectively. Social movement appearing is caused by 6 (six) social condition : 1). Structural Condusiveness, 2). Structural Strain, 3). Growth and Spread of an Explanation, 4). Precipitating Factors, 5). Mobilization for Action, 6). Lack of Social Control. It implies to make people move and act collectively and doing the movement institutionalization in form of social and political movement. Based on the data collected, researcher may conclude that the appearing of Wahana Tri Tunggal movement is caused by 1). Gap existence in education and work, 2). Based on the gap, anxious changes into strain and stress, 3). Strain and stress grow bigger because the information of airport relocation grow massively then it makes the strain and stress go closer to reality, 4). It grows faster because people must compete with the urgention of new airport building in order that the airport relocation is cancelled to build in Temon, 5). By doing mass mobilization, this movement develop in its member quantity, 6). Lack of social control from government also becomes the trigerring to people to do collective action, because people become freely doing what they want as their desire.
